As of today, Samuel Zbogar has officially started he mandate as the new EU ambassador to FYROM. Today, Zbogar delivered to the president of the country, George Ivanov, the credential papers.
Zbogar has not commented the start of his mandate in FYROM, but has only posted a photo in social networks, entering the EU offices in Skopje.
With a 22 year old career, Zbogar has served as the head of the Slovenian diplomacy and recently, he was also the EU ambassador to Kosovo.
The Slovenian diplomat starts his mandate at a time when the country is scheduled to hold elections on 11 December.
Zbogar will replace the Latvian diplomat, Aivo Orav, who has been appointed as EU ambassador to Podgorica. /balkaneu.com/
