A clear signal of the EU for the start of accession negotiations would be a real booster for Western Balkans and it would deter all undesired influences in the region. This was said by Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev in a public debate hosted by IFIMES in Ljubjana as part of a two day official visit that he’s holding in Slovenia.
Zaev told the participants that this is the only country in Western Balkans which has no pending issues with neighbours and according to him, the Prespa agreement played an important contribution for this.
“We’re committed to building a society for everyone and a concept which respects diversity in our society. Cross-ethnic relations today are stable. We’re now finalizing political reforms, including judicial reform, security services, public administration and fight against corruption”, Pm Zaev said. /ibna/
