Young people from Kosovo and Serbia gathered in a conference today dubbed “Reconciliation and youth perspective” to discuss the consequences of prejudices and stereotypes between the two neighboring countries.
The scope of the project is to raise awareness among young people in order for them to address challenges that Kosovo and Serbia have faced throughout the year.
The manager of this project, Visar Haxhifazliu said that this is a very good opportunity to remind everyone that the process of peace of the recent years cannot only be defined by politics.
“Full reconciliation can be achieved, but not overnight, given that this reconciliation needs time and will be challenging”, Haxhifazliu said.
The representative of Libero organization from Belgrade, Mina Mirkovic, said that “we must meet more often and exchange experiences on a daily basis, in order to overcome the bad image which is really damaging us”. /ibna/
