World Bank supports competition in Kosovo’s exports

The World Bank Board of Directors in Washington has approved a loan of 14.3 million euros for Kosovo’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

This fund will back the strengthening of competition of exports for Kosovo’s companies.

This project is of a great importance for Kosovo’s entrepreneurs and will help Kosovo in improving its competitive capacities and production capacities in order to export products abroad.

The project will help in reducing costs for companies that want to test their products and obtain certificates which are internationally known. The project will also support the reformation of the system of inspections in Kosovo, by reducing the number of business inspections, but by increasing their efficiency.

Kosovo’s companies will benefit low costs from these services, while a significant number will receive grants. /
