Improved and integrated public services, by reducing the possibilities for corruption and the strengthening of the code of ethics, based on customer care in offering public services.
These options are the scope of the project that was signed today by the Albanian government and the World Bank.
The new agreement comes in the framework of the delivery of the major project of the Albanian government for the improvement of integrated public services, in line with the priority of the government for “Innovative Well Governance”.
The 29,3 million euro funding, allocated by the World Bank through this agreement, will back the delivery of the project “Offering Citizens Focused Services”.
Minister of Finance, Shkelqim Cani says that this project aims at delivering several objectives such as simplified procedures in offering services, facilitating communication with the public and avoid corruption, and also the develop the infrastructure of the technology of information and communication able to sustain daily activities of the public administration.
The Minister of Finance says that this “is an agreement which entirely benefits the citizen, makes his life easier and improves procedures that he faces in obtaining documents in institutions”.
The project will be developed by following examples from the best international practices. Its development will extend until December 2020. /ibna/
