The World Bank has allocated 83 million euros for FYR Macedonia in order to complete infrastructural projects. The government declared that the scope of the project is to improve transport links for road users along Corridor 8 between Skopje and Deve Bair border crossing point with Bulgaria.
The loan has a maturity period of 28 years.
“The main component of the project, amounting to a value of 73 million euros, will fund the construction of the new road linking Rankovce with Krika Palanka 26,64 km long. The construction will last three years and the road is expected to be ready for use at the end of 2019”, the World Bank office in FYROM said today.
The World Bank said that investments in transport infrastructure are crucial for the investment of the country. /ibna/
