Pristina, May 4, 2013, by Tinka Kurti-Independent Unions of Kosovo have not held a protest on May 1, but they will hold this protest at the end of May. This was announced by the head of the Independent Unions, Haxhi Arifi.
“We will protest about our daily problems at work, the implementation of laws, the collective agreements, a minimum wage, the issue of pensions, the issue of miners, the issue of unemployed”, said Arifi.
The Independent Unions of Kosovo have not held a protest on May 1, as they had left this day to be used as a holiday.
Meanwhile, the vice chairman of this organization, Avni Ajdini said that amongst the demands is also the awareness of the public opinion and workers to raise their voice against nepotism and corruption, which is present in Kosovo. /ibna/
