The IMF team is still working alongside international organizations looking at the macroeconomic aspects of the Cyprus solution, IMF Spokesman Gerry Rice has said.
Asked to comment on the reports that were given to the two Cypriot leaders on the economy after the Cyprus settlement and its cost, Rice said that an IMF team has been working alongside with international organisations, looking at the macroeconomic aspects of the Cyprus solution.
“That work is still going on. As is usual with technical assistance work, we deliver our final reports to the TA recipients and we don’t comment publically on those. It would really be up to the recipients to disclose the conclusions of any such reports,” he concluded.
