After FYROM, Kosovo has also become part of a scandal of eavesdropping, involving senior state officials.

Kosovo media have published several conversations of Democratic party of Kosovo officials involved in unlawful acts.

Several registered conversations of the President of the country, Hashim Thaci, Speaker of Parliament, Kadri Veseli and other government representatives, show that this party exerts its influence in the public institutions of the country through nepotism.

In relation to this, Self Determination party issued a press conference today where it addresses strong criticism against senior representatives of the government of Kosovo.

Glauk Konjufca, vice chairman of Self Determination said that these recorded conversations indicate the way how the state has been captured.

He calls on the prosecution to investigate this case, adding that “there’s not much room for suspicion, because the facts are there”.

“This is one reason more not to accept the agreements [agreement on demarcation and the Association] and the decisions taken by corrupt politicians. They should not continue to govern us. Instead, I invite everyone to remove them from power”, he said.

On the other hand, Albulena Haxhiu MP says that one registration alone identifies four cases where PDK has intervened in the justice system in the country.

According to her, crime and corruption cannot be fought through this “criminalized justice system”, but only through civil mobilization. /balkaneu.com/
