The Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has declared that Kosovo is successfully finalizing 2015.

“We have just signed the Stabilization and Association Agreement and we are waiting to be recommended for the liberalization of visas, as we have met all the criteria”, Thaci declared in his speech in the proceedings of the Conference of Foreign Ministers of the Vishegrad Group (V4) and of West Balkans countries (WB6), being held in Prague to discuss the enlargement of the European Union and regional collaboration.

Thaci has called on the EU not to be delayed with the region, as this gives way to other countries and ideologies to penetrate the Balkans.

As far as voting for Kosovo’s accession in the UNESCO is concerned, Thaci said that this experience showed how fragile peace in the Balkan is. Thaci also said that the UNESCO experience made it clear that West Balkan must enter the EU as a whole. Otherwise, Thaci said, Serbia will again attempt to prevent Kosovo’s Euro Atlantic integration. /ibna/
