President of Kosovo, Hashim Taci along with the US ambassador, Greg Delawie have signed the amendment of the bilateral agreement on the Grant of Development Objectives.

The agreement stipulates the commitment of the US government to help Kosovo’s institutions deliver the necessary reforms that will push Kosovo’s development forward.

Ambassador Delwaie declared that he’s happy that his government is offering 26 million euros and that the US and Kosovo are marking a progress in their relations.

“We are strengthening Kosovo in its fight against corruption. Our investments will also continue in the future. After the war, USAID has invested 800 million euros in Kosovo”, he said.

President Thaci said that USAID’s support has been present in all domains.

“This is a proof of the partnership between USA and Kosovo in all domains, especially in the fight against corruption and good governance. I am grateful to the US administration for the support given to Kosovo”, he said. /balkaneu.com/
