As the second largest city in the country, Tetovo has been lacking water for the past three days. This due to the fact that there are suspicions for water contamination.
The Micro biologic Institute has not yet published the results, as samples of water have been just taken from different areas of the city.
Center of Public Health in Tetovo said that the pollution has come as a water source in Popova Sapka has been polluted by external factors following the recent rainfall and construction works in several mountainous areas.
Ratko Davidkovski, specialist at the Center of Public Health in Tetovo, said that citizens must not drink the water until the publication of results by the Institute in order to verify the level of contamination.
