According to the newspaper Vecernji List the american investment fund W. P. Carey has purchased five stores from the Croatian Business giant Agrokor for €67 million.
Three of the stores are said to be in Zagreb, one in Split and one in Zadar, which is a port in the Adriatic Sea.
This business move was part of W. P. Carey’s €350 million investment in Europe.
W. P. Carey Inc. is a publicly traded REIT (NYSE: WPC) that provides long-term sale-leaseback and build-to-suit financing for companies worldwide and manages an investment portfolio of approximately $15.8 billion.
