Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic asked his Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras for Greece not to vote in favor Kosovo’s membership in UNESCO. Vucic and Tsipras had phone conversation today, Serbian government’s media office stated.
In conversation described as long and comprehensive Vucic and Tsipras have exchanged their positions considering migrant crisis and jointly concluded that two countries policies should be more frequently coordinated in that regard, Tanjug reported.
“The heads of the governments of two countries have discussed all regional issues, especially considering Kosovo and Metohija. Premier Vucic has asked premier Tsipras for Greece not to vote in favor of Kosovo’s UNESCO membership”, government’s media office specified.
Vucic and Tsipras have concluded that future economic and political relations between Serbia and Greece would be based on the friendship of the two countries. Vucic has invited Tsipras to visit Belgrade, and premiers have agreed that visit would be organized in “next three-four months”.
