Human rights activists from Montenegro will stage an anti-Trump rally, in the capital Podgorica, on Friday, December 15.
The U.S. President’s unilateral decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has caused international reactions and activists from Montenegro are not the only ones to protest against it.
Montenegro activists who spoke to BIRN about their move, said they wished to join “forces” with other similar actions in world capitals and want to send a message (to Trump) highlighting about the possible turmoil such a decision could cause in the Middle East, which is already dealing with various open fronts.
“The Montenegrin people support Palestine, which is the largest concentration camp in the world. Montenegro also has been under occupation for 30 years and it knows perfectly well how it is when someone destroys everything we have, the organisers told BIRN in a statement.”…/IBNA
