VMRO-NP reacted today against the agreement between Skopje and Belgrade to have joint embassies, adding that with this agreement, VMRO-DPMNE and BDI (Democratic Union for Integration) coalition, are placing the country into the hands of Serbia.
“Old veterans of VMRO and the honest patriots who, 20 years ago fought about the independence of Macedonia, are now placing themselves in Serbia’s hands, being members of VMRO-DPMNE. What the former Yugoslav secret service, UDB, could not manage to do in order to turn our patriots into Serb serviles, is being done by the current government in a quiet way”, reads the statement released by VMRO-NP led by former prime minister of the country, Lubco Georgievski.
This party asks to the government coalition as to which foreign policy toward Kosovo will be promoted by these joint diplomatic centers, given Serbia’s positioning on this issue.
“Does this mean that the government of Macedonia, which BDI is part of, will be part of the Serb scenario of not recognizing Kosovo’s independence and preventing the European and Atlantic integration of the neighboring country, which Macedonia has recognized”, says among others the statement of the party of former prime minister Lubco Georgievski. /ibna/
