FYROM’s largest opposition party, VMRO-DPMNE has removed Petar Bogoevski who up until now has held the post of deputy general secretary. Bogoevski was one of the most senior officials of this party who was against the boycott of the referendum on the name deal.
“Boycott is not in the best interest of VMRO-DPMNE and the country, but in the interest of several people who want our party to be blamed for the delays in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration”, Bogoevski declared at that time.
Even after the decision to remove him, Bogoevski declared that VMRO-DPMNE is heading in the wrong direction. Bogoevski and several other party members are party of the initiative for reforms within the largest opposition party. /ibna/
