Yesterday, VMRO-DPMNE held a march of protest in Strumica. The leader of this party, Hristijan Mickoski spoke about the issue of the new name, the economic situation and requested amnesty for the people who are accused of the violent events taken place on 27 April of last year in Parliament.
Commenting the deal on the name signed with Greece, Mickoski said that in the interviews given for Greek media, PM Zoran Zaev tries to convince Greek nationalists that this is a good deal and that identity is an individual issue.
“They want you to be subdued and say ‘yes’ when they tell you that you’re citizens of Northern Macedonia”, Mickoski said. /ibna/
