Vjosa Osmani becomes the first woman to run for prime minister of Kosovo in the upcoming early elections set to be held on 6 October. Osmani will have the support of LDK, which is the oldest political party in Kosovo.
The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), which was part of the opposition in the previous parliament, confirmed yesterday that their senior member Vjosa Osmani will run in the next election for the country’s prime minister.
Osmani has served as Member of Parliament in the previous parliament composition. She also is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Law in University of Pristina.
