Leader of LSDM, Zoran Zaev said after the meeting that along with Mr. Venizelos, they stressed the importance of the integration of FYR Macedonia in the European Union as one of the most strategic issues of the country.
“We demanded a stronger involvement of the EU and Greece for the solution of the problems that Macedonia has in its path toward European integration”, declared Zaev.
Zoran Zaev said that the meeting stressed that the positioning of Greece doesn’t lead to a solution of problems and that their solution is possible through such visits and meetings.
Zaev said that political factors must make use of such practice to talk and improve general relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, the leader of Albanian party, BDI, Ali Ahmeti said that Greece is ready to help FYR Macedonia in its journey toward EU and NATO integration.
“We shared the same insights on a number of issues, especially in the aspect of the integration of not only our country, but of the entire region in the NATO and EU.
