The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj held a two day visit in Athens, where he was received by his Greek counterpart, Yiorgos Kaminis.
The pair decided that they will soon sign a cooperation protocol and stressed that the two municipalities were interested on collaborating in the future.
Meanwhile, the two mayors also agreed on improving relations between the two cities by collaborating for concrete projects.
“For three years in a row, Veliaj has served his city with dynamism and enthusiasm in order to transform Tirana into a modern city. This is something that we’re doing in Athens too. This is why we’re planning to collaborate in the future”, the mayor of Athens, Yiorgos Kaminis said.
Meanwhile, mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj said that this visit marks the start of a successful cooperation between the capital of Greece and capital of Albania. /ibna/
