Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama has challenged representatives of small businesses in the country to continue their protest about the reduction of the Value Added Tax bracket, but considered the protest politically motivated.
“You might as well continue your protest, but it’s a failed protest, because the truth is that the majority of small businesses know what we’re talking about. Nobody believes in those sorts of protests that you hold by closing your shops for a few hours. You can continue to protest if you like. This is your decision, not ours”, Rama said.
The Prime Minister made this declaration during a meeting with representatives of small businesses, who complained about local government taxes, which, according to them have been increased by municipalities. /ibna/
