Vardar wins the national football league

Vardar of Skopje football club was announced winner of the First Football League in FYR Macedonia.

The oldest club in the country celebrated the 8th title, following a draw with Sileks in Kratova.

Vardar’s football players have celebrated their title in Kratova.

Second on the table are last year’s champions from Rabotnick, who have managed to secure their participation in the Europa League. Third and fourth were the two clubs from Tetovo, Shkendija and Renova.

Next week, clubs will play the last matches for this season, but they will not have an impact on the table. The first football league in FYROM is made up of 10 teams and this new rule has been applied since last season. /ibna/
