In FYROM, the number of internet and social networks users has gone up.
Based on a poll carried out by the Agency for Audiovisual Services, around 75,9% of citizens in the country have internet access in their homes. This percentage is much higher than last year, when figures were around 65%. According to the study, a significant number of people use social networks for communication and research.
91.8% of respondents between the age of 16 and 19 and 80.1% of those between the age of 20 and 29, access social networks on a daily basis.
The Department of Statistics in Skopje said that last year, the country was ranked 43rd in the world for the use of internet based on the number of users. /ibna/
