US ambassador to Skopje, Paul Volers says that the boycott of presidential elections in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is an issue for which parties and voters decide.

The reaction of Mr. Volers came today (13.02), as recently, several Albanian non government organizations in FYR Macedonia have appealed for the elections to be boycotted.

“I don’t want to discuss domestic politics today, but the issue on which you’re asking me is decided by voters and political parties in the country”, declared the US ambassador during his visit in the commune of Vrapcist in the region of Gostivar.

Meanwhile, other western diplomats don’t want to comment the latest rumors for the possibility of the boycott of the presidential elections from Albanian parties. These warnings have not even been commented by Brussels and Washington and there are still no reactions in relation to the presidential elections which will be held on April 13. /ibna/
