FYROM has made progress and an invitation is expected to be made during next week’s NATO summit. This was said last night by the US ambassador, Jess Baily in a ceremony hosted on the occasion of the 242nd anniversary of the independence of the US.
“This is a time of hope for Macedonia. People are focused on the relations of their country with Europe, USA, NATO and the EU. Progress has been made and we’re expecting to receive good news from the NATO summit”, Baily said.
The US ambassador has praised the name agreement reached with Greece and the agreement for good neighboring relations reached with Bulgaria. /ibna/
