United Nations Committee for Human Rights has appealed for the investigations of January 21 events to be concluded as soon as possible, expressing its concern on this issue.
This committee demands all international standards of investigation to be guaranteed, underlining the necessity to compensate victims, while saying that the responsible persons for this event must be held accountable.
In the second report of this committee on Albania, this institution also expresses its concern about the phenomenon of blood feud, and amongst others our country is considered to be at the origin of the traffic of children, while appealing for measures to be taken against human trafficking.
