Representatives of the European Union have given their support in order for the Union of the Communes of Montenegro to have its representative body in Brussels.
This has been announced by Miomir Mugosha, mayor of Podgorica, who stressed that this will be soon be realized.
“There are hundreds of representative bodies from the European regions and cities that operate in Brussels. The main role of the representative body in Brussels will be to gather the necessary information and reactions for everything that has to do with the possibility of funding different projects of local administrations with European funds”, said Mugosha.
Earlier, Podgorica has submitted its request for the Union of Communes of Montenegro to have its representative body in Brussels. /ibna/
