MPs from minority parties in Kosovo are considering the possibility of joining forces and creating a bloc of 20 MPs.
This has been warned by the head of Serb List, Aleksandar Jablanovic.
He said that only through unification, minorities can fulfill their rights, which are enshrined in the Constitution.
“It’s the Bosnians, Ashkalis, Gorans, Roma and Egyptians which are planning to form a bloc in the parliament of Kosovo. This bloc will consist of 20 MPs, who will form an important political party and will represent the interests of minorities”, said Jablanovic.
The warnings issued by minorities that a new agreement may be reached to create a joint parliamentary group, is, according to expert of political affairs, Nexhmedin Spahiu, a natural thing, because every parliamentary group tries to have as many numbers as possible in order to have more power.
Spahiu also said that the unification of minorities into a joint parliamentary group is a danger to Kosovo.
“This parliamentary group will have a great impact in the next government, if it’s part of it. Power will consist in every aspect”, added Spahiu. /ibna/
