Unemployment rate in Romania mildly dropped to 4% in October 2019, from 4.1% recorded in September, according to data released today by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Unemployment rate in men (4.4%) were higher by one percentage point compared to the unemployment rate in women (3.4%). The number of unemployed people aged 15-74 estimated for October 2019 was 365,000; for adults within the 25-74 age group it stood at 3% (3.5% for men and 2.4% for women). The number of unemployed aged 25-74 was 70.5% of the total number of unemployed estimated for October 2019. /ibna
