Today, the UN Security Council will hold a debate on the quarterly report for Kosovo.
The report drafted by the UN Secretary General, praises, among others, “the efforts of the institutions of Kosovo to preserve a peaceful environment during the long period of political uncertainty after the parliamentary elections of 11 June”.
The report also says that the EU brokered dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, “requires determination and commitment and that the implementation of the agreements signed in 2013 has been delayed”.
“High level agreements, old ones and new ones, will only be valid if they are backed by both sides”, the report says. /balkaneu.com/
