Former minister of Transport , Mile Janakievski and former general secretary of VMR-DPMNE, Kiril Bozinovski have been arrested last night by police and have been remanded in custody for being accused by the Special Prosecution for criminal offenses carried out during the time Nikola Gruevski served as Prime Minister.
The two senior officials of the largest party in the country were remanded in custody for a period of 30 days.
A few hours before the arrest, former minister Janakievski condemned Gruevski’s escape to Hungary and admitted that this would have aggravating consequences for the other people who are part of the wiretapping scandal. Janakievski and Bozinovski are being investigated for financial abuses and illegal acts during the time VMRO-DPMNE was in power. /ibna/
