A new airport will be built in Albania alongside the main international one. Today, the ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania has wrapped up the process for the evaluation of bids and announced the winning bid for the construction of the airport of Kukes, which will be an 8 million euro investment.
The airport in question will be built by Global Technical Mechanics sh.p.k and Bami sh.p.k.
“These two companies in collaboration with the Dutch company, NACO, which has lots of experience in the area of airport management will make the investment in question with the aim of reconstructing, operating and handing over the airport of Kukes to state authorities after 35 years”, the ministry says. /ibna/
