“The country is carrying out the necessary reforms for a strong economy, implementing policies with determination”, the Turkish President stressed.
The Turkish president on Monday shared his vision for Turkey until the 2023 general elections, saying the country is “activating its potential” with an emphasis on investment, production, growth, employment and exports.
Speaking at regular provincial congresses of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) via teleconference from Istanbul, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his government was implementing the necessary reforms for economic development.
“We are carrying out the necessary reforms needed for the strong development of the economy. We are resolutely implementing the policies we have developed”, Erdogan said.
He noted that the AKP government is making progress in a new process in Turkey.
“We are making progress under this new process in all areas, including education, health, transport, energy, industry and trade”, he said.
Erdogan also commented on Turkey’s role, both regionally and globally.
“It is a fact that aggression against our country is increasing as Turkey grows rapidly both regionally and globally”, Erdogan said, adding that the 2023 general election would be a “historic turning point” for Turkey./ibna
