Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet in Moscow on Thursday 5 March according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov.
The Russian envoy noted that Russia was focused on enforcing the Sochi agreements on Syria and supported Damascus in its intention to fight terrorists.
“As for Erdogan, the Turkish President will indeed arrive in Moscow on the 5th of March as part of a working visit, and talks with the Russian president are scheduled”, Peskov stated.
“Of course, it is very important to remain in contact with our Turkish colleagues”, he added.
When asked to comment on Ankara’s plans to expand its operations in Idlib, Peskov replied, “Our armies are in constant contact, and most importantly we will see that in the talks between Putin and Erdogan”. /ibna
