The Turkish Foreign Minister received the High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara.
In a tweet post, Mevlut Cavusoglu wrote, “I am pleased to host Christian Schmidt, appointed High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Ankara.
We will continue to support the work of the High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the stability and integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

In the statement from the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia, it states that “High Representative Christian Schmidt met today in Ankara with the Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu. The meeting focused on future cooperation.
Christian Schmidt, who has been appointed High Representative in BiH in place of Valentin Inzko, has not been accepted by Republika Srpska, one of the BiH entites, nor has he received the support of the permanent members of the UN Security Council, Russia and China./ibna
