Turkey and Refugee problem at the Mitsotakis-Charles Michel meeting in Brussels

The migrant/refugees problem, the latest Brexit developments and Turkey’s transgressive behavior in the southeastern Mediterranean and Syria dominated Wednesday’s dinner in Brussels between Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the next president of the Council of Europe and prime minister of Belgium, Charles Michel.

The meeting took place on the eve of the Summit, at the invitation of the new president of the European Council, who will succeed Donald Tusk and put forward the big issues that will be of concern to Europe in the coming years.

The Prime Minister will attend today’s European Council Summit (15:00 Brussels time). Earlier (12:00 local time) he will take part in the proceedings of the European People’s Party Summit./ibna
