Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will be travelling to Ukraine.
A meeting in the form of “2+2” will be held in Ukraine with the participation of the two countries’ Foreign Affairs and Defense Ministers, where the preparations for the 9th Summit of the High Level Strategic Council will be discussed.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Akar and Cavusoglu will pay an official visit to Ukraine on December 17-18, and it was stated that they will mainly discuss industrial projects, but also defense cooperation, which has developed into a strategic relationship.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Cavusoglu will hold talks with representatives of the Crimean Tatar Turks as well as with representatives of the Gagauz and the Meskhetian Turks. /ibna
