Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras sat side by side with his Turkish counterpart Ahmed Davutoglu, in stands of Fatih Terim, to watch the friendly football game between Turkey and Greece.
Smiling and wearing scarves with the colors of the two teams, the two men watched the game at the stadium, of which the inauguration had been was made by Recep Tayyip Erdogan, having also played for 15 minutes at the same event. It is the first time that the prime ministers of the two countries watch a football match together.
Of course, despite the best efforts of the organizers to avoid any boos during the Greek national anthem, this was not achieved. Something similar happened when the host was the Greek national team.
These moments of relaxation will give their position to tough negotiations for the refugee problem to be held in Ankara, where the two sides hope to find a way of cooperation and understanding in this very hot topic.
The game ended in a goalless draw 0-0.
