Tsakalotos’ first post-bailout roadshow

Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos will travel to London on Wednesday and Thursday to meet with representatives of investment firms on the occasion of the 13th Annual Greek Roadshow organized by the Athens Stock Exchange.

Prior to his arrival in London, the Finance Minister will be in Berlin, where he will attend a meeting of the EU’s PES Ecofin Ministerial Network as an observer on Wednesday.

Tsakalotos will then be departing for London, to attend the 13th Annual Greek Roadshow organized by the Athens Stock Exchange (19-20 / 9/18) on the same day.

On Thursday 20 September at 12.30 (Greek), the Finance Minister will speak to investors, followed by a series of meetings with representatives of investment firms. He will present (on Thursday) to foreign funds the prospects of the Greek economy as well as the government’s Holistic Development Program, pointing out that fiscal targets are being exceeded and that Greece will not need to tap debt markets soon, because of the cash buffer it has built.

It is worth mentioning that more than 650 meetings with listed companies have been arranged to go ahead at the roadshow, with the participation of almost 100 funds. Greek mid-cap and large-cap companies that will be represented at the highest level are: Alpha Bank, EXAE, Autohellas, Cenergy Holdings, Ellador – El. Tech. Eurobank, Fourlis, GEK Terna – Terna Energy, Grivalia, ELPE, OTE, Iktinos, Kri-Kri, Lamda Development, Marfin Investment Group, MLS, Motor Oil, Mytilineos, Piraeus Bank, PPA, PPP, Sarantis, Thrace Plastics, Titan, Viohalco and Intralot.

In any case, the meetings are seen as an important test since this is the first formal contact with markets in the post-bailout era./IBNA
