Albania and Ukraine are taking further steps for the agreement of free trade between the two countries.
During an official visit in Kiev, the Albanian Foreign minister, Ditmir Bushati has had a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Pavlo Klimkin where the two ministers discussed on the proposals concerning such trade.
“We have exchanged the first drafts of our agreement for free trade, based on the interests of our businesses, especially in the domain of agriculture, in order to be able to sell food products here”, Bushati said.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian minister said that there’s a good perspective for the future of free trade and that the details will be discussed with the Ukrainian ministry of Trade.
According to INSTAT, exports to Ukraine in 2017 were 455 million lek, while imports amounted to 3.5 billion lek. /balkaneu.com/
