Tourism is a sector which is having a bigger effect on the Albanian economy.
This is shown by the latest figures provided by the Bank of Albania, according to which, in the year to September, revenues generated by this sector were 1.3 billion euros, registering an increase of 13%.
In the recent years, revenues from tourism have increased, while last year, they touched a record figure of 1.5 billion euros.
On the other hand, according to the Institute of Statistics, for the period January-October of this year, the number of foreign nationals entering Albania was 4.6 million, 7% more than the same period last year.
On the other hand, Albanians have also spent more to travel abroad. According to the Bank of Albania, in the third quarter of this year, Albanians spent 407 million euros or 10% more than the same period last year. /balkaneu.com/
