The total sales of petroleum products in August 2016 recorded a decrease of 4,1% compared to the previous month, according to the Statistical Service.
A decline was recorded in the sales of Asphalt, Kerosene, Light Fuel Oil, Gasoil Low Sulphur, as well as in the provisions of Gasoil for Marine use and Aviation Kerosene. On the contrary, a rise was observed in the sales of Liquefied Petroleum Gases, Gasoil and Motor Gasoline. The total stocks of petroleum products at the end of the month recorded a fall of 7,0% compared to the previous month.
During the period January – August 2016, the total sales of petroleum products recorded an increase of 10,0% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
