Political leaders in Tirana have hailed the joint statement issued by Kosovo and Montenegro regarding the demarcation agreement.
Thus, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha has considered this as good news for Kosovo on this 10th anniversary of independence. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister who has left for Pristina, said that he hopes this agreement will be finalized as soon as possible.
“The agreement is a clear act of Kosovo’s coordination with our Euro Atlantic allies. I express my conviction that its voting by the Parliament of Kosovo deserves to be valued by European institutions and that it is going to speed up Kosovo’s steps toward European integration”, Basha wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama says that he hopes the agreement will be finalized as soon as possible.
“I’m on my way to Pristina and I heard about this important step taken toward the finalization of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro! I hope it will be finalized as soon as possible”, Rama wrote. /balkaneu.com/
