“There’s no reconciliation with Serbia without shedding light on the fate of missing people”

There’s no reconciliation with Serbia without shedding light on the fate of people who went missing in the last war in Kosovo. This was declared today by president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci in a meeting held on Martyrs’ Day in the village of Korisha.

The head of the state has praised parliament’s initiative to approve a resolution on Serb genocide in Kosovo.

“I’m glad parliament of Kosovo has decided to approve a resolution that condemns Serb genocide in Kosovo. We do not want reconciliation with Serbia without shedding light on the fate of missing people and if justice is not delivered”, Thaci said.

He said that the martyrs of Korisha are a direct product of the systematic violence organized by Serbia. “Women, children and elderly people were murdered, while many of them were displaced”, Thaci said. /ibna/
