Interest for Albanian minerals is growing, as the Albanian government has made an offer for another 15 new mineral areas in the entire territory of the country.
According to the ministry of Energy and Industry, the list of free mineral zones for which the business sector may bid is led by the Hill of Kojlika in the district of Durres, as this area is rich in limestone.
The list continues with the area of Balgjaj in Dibra, declared as a free zone for chrome. The area of Gjinaj, in Kukes, also offers chrome along with the area of Zercan in Dibra.
Meanwhile, another free zone has been declared in the area of Mengaj in Tirana for gypsum.
All the operators interested on these areas have been invited to bid until 1 June 2017. /balkaneu.com/
