The chairman of the parliamentary committee for security, Spartak Braho has talked about the media in relation to the theft taken place at the Bank of Albania.
He said that the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ardian Fullani, doesn’t have any legal responsibility to resign, while adding that it’s the seven members of the Oversight Committee of the Bank of Albania those who must do such thing.
“I call on professor Adrian Civici, rector Dhori Kule and professor Meksi to carry out a moral civil act for themselves and also to institutionally justify that as members of the Oversight Committee, they resign for a reason which has now been proved, the fact that the poor management of the Bank of the State is evident”, said Braho.
He continued by saying that State Prosecution must be left alone to do its job and besides the notorious case of several months ago involving the system of taxation, it must also investigate the theft of the Bank of Albania.
Considering this as a very serious event, Braho declared that this theft has shocked public opinion and it has an impact in the financial security in the country. /ibna
