The agreement signed with Greece regarding the solution of the name dispute is a unique opportunity for the country’s EU and NATO path. This was declared today by the German State Minister for Europe, Michael Roth today from Ohrid, where he participated in the conference for the integration of the country in the European Union.
“I would like to encourage the citizens of your beautiful country to embrace this historic opportunity. If you accept the agreement, this will mean that your citizens are committed for democracy, rule of law, independence of the judicial system and that they want to be part of a united Europe”, the German minister said.
On his part, FYROM’s Foreign minister, Nikola Dimitrov said that the future of the country depends on the referendum. Dimitrov has also criticized opposition party VMRO-DPMNE concerning this party’s position on the referendum. According to him, the opposition is not confronting the will of the people. /ibna/
