Former Prime Minister and former leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Lubco Georgievski said that the mandate for the creation of the government following the failure of Nikola Gruevski, must be given to SDSM (Macedonian Social Democratic Union) and then to BDI (Democratic Union for Integration), otherwise, according to him, the elections would lose their meaning.
“In the spirit of European democracy and parliamentary practices, the mandate for the formation of the government must be given to SDSM and if SDSM fails, this mandate should be given to BDI. Otherwise, early parliamentary elections would lose their meaning”, Georgievski said.
He said that in the past there have been cases when the Constitution has been breached and this has been done by the first president of the country, Kiro Gliogorov. /balkaneu.com/
