The head of the Albanian Central Bank says that debt level is under control

The level of debts that businesses in Albania owe is under control, while the banking sector is well-capitalized and liquid, able to absorb any potential shock.

This was announced by the governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko during the 40th Meeting of the Central Bank Governors’ Club of the Central Asia, Black Sea Region and Balkan Countries hosted in Bucharest.

The meeting of the Central Bank Governors’ Club act as a platform of discussion on the latest developments in the member countries, where central banks present their experiences, mechanisms and policies that they use to better adapt to changes and developments in financial markets and banking sector, with the aim of preserving financial stability. /ibna/
